If your organization is interested in adopting MELA, it is recommended that your organization undergo a standard setting. A standard setting is an activity where institutional or organizational stakeholders are led through a series of test tasks, test rubrics, and examples of test taker performance at different score levels. Group decisions are then made about whether a test is appropriate for the institution or organization's purpose. Cut scores (for admission or professional registration purposes) can also be made through the standard setting activity.
